The Waverly 12 oz

The dark chocolate and orange notes come through exactly as described, giving a nice complexity without being muddled. This espresso pulls a gorgeous crema and has just the right acidity to wake up my morning routine.

I was skeptical about a fig note in espresso but it somehow works — sweet up front with the dark chocolate rounding it out. Pulls a syrupy shot that holds up great as a straight 12 oz morning cup.

The orange note hits first, then that dark chocolate creeps in on the finish. I've been pulling it as a straight shot every morning and it's sweet enough that I stopped adding sugar. Fig's subtle but it's there if you let the cup cool a minute.
