A remarkable bean from a talented family-run outfit born in Columbia s Huila region. Handled with a whole lot of love, this bright and light-bodied roast gives big on stonefruit and almond with balanced acidity. Makes for one of the nicest, crispest, cleanest filter coffees we ve tried. Serve it straight up (black, that is).

The almond note in this one really comes through without any bitterness, which is rare for a lighter roast. Been brewing it as a pour-over every morning and the stonefruit sweetness shows up right in the middle.

I've been drinking this for a week now and the stonefruit really does come through, especially when I brew it a touch lighter. It's a light body but still feels balanced, not thin or sour like some bright roasts I've tried.

First cup this morning was a pleasant surprise — the light roast really lets the almond flavor shine through without any bitterness. Balanced enough for my daily espresso, and the brightness wakes you up gently.
