AeroPress フローコントロールフィルターキャップ - スタンダード

I used to have a mess with coffee grounds leaking into my cup before the brew finished, but this cap's valve seals everything tight until I'm ready to press. The extra control over steeping time has noticeably improved the flavor of my morning cup.

The pressure-actuated valve really does stop the drip-through, which lets me control the bloom exactly how I want. Only minor gripe is it adds a few seconds to cleanup, but the consistency in my cup is worth it.

Stopping the drip before I press makes a real difference, since I used to lose a good splash of water into the cup while setting things up. The valve is easy to snap on but a bit stiff to click into place the first few times. Solid upgrade if you like playing with different brew recipes.
