Explore the Barista Filter Bundle Trio for AeroPress: what's included, how each filter affects flavor, and which one fits your brew style.
Quick answer
The Barista Filter Bundle Trio is your all-in-one solution to explore the full flavor range of your AeroPress: it includes both metal and paper filters that work with the Flow Control Filter Cap, so you can switch between cleaner and fuller-bodied cups without buying separate packs.
Why the filter choice matters
The filter you use doesn't just keep grounds out of your cup—it actively shapes the flavor. Paper filters absorb oils and fine particles, giving you a bright, clean brew. Metal filters let those oils and fines through, adding body and a richer mouthfeel.
With the Barista Filter Bundle Trio, you get both options in one purchase, so you can experiment side by side and find your preferred profile without committing to a single style.
Compatibility and convenience
This bundle is designed for the AeroPress Original, Clear, and Go models, and it pairs with the Flow Control Filter Cap to prevent drip-through. That means you can control the brew time precisely—no more coffee dripping into your cup before you're ready.
Having both filter types on hand also means you can tailor your brew to the moment: a clean cup for a bright morning, a fuller-bodied cup for an afternoon pick-me-up.
How to decide if this bundle is for you
- Choose paper filters if: You prefer a clean, bright cup with less sediment and a lighter mouthfeel. Paper filters also make cleanup simpler—just discard and rinse. If you're new to AeroPress, start with paper to taste the classic clean profile.
- Choose metal filters if: You enjoy a fuller-bodied, oil-rich brew with more texture and a heavier mouthfeel. Metal filters are reusable, so they reduce waste over time. If you're used to French press or espresso, metal will feel more familiar.
- Choose the bundle if: You want the flexibility to switch between both styles without buying separate packs. The bundle also ensures you have a backup when one filter wears out. If you entertain guests with different preferences, the bundle lets you brew each cup to taste.
